Bob Parker at Cape Girardeau
Bob Parker announces his exploratory committee for Congress in Missouri’s 8th District on July 4th, 2009 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
“I had a great time with the good people of Cape Girardeau at the Veteran’s 4th of July event. My sincere thanks to all those that came and took part. As you will see in video, I believe our promises should be kept to our heroic Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. People all across Missouri are wondering what our government will do next. It’s time for representation that will support the right to life and not vote for big government bailouts to insurance companies and bankers. Like I also say in the video, go ask a farmer or a small business person how they like all the “free” trade agreements that have destroyed our manufacturing base and our business climate here in Missouri… if you can find one.
The support for our campaign has been tremendous and throughout the district what I am hearing is that we need a representative that is closer to the people in the 8th district. I have lived and worked here for 34 years and I know what the good people of the 8th district have been facing with this out of control government, and I agree. It’s time the little guy has someone who will fight for them for a change.”
